The estimate cost for procedures as displayed on the website has been arrived at after working meticulously with top hospitals in India. Once we enquire with hospitals on your behalf, you will receive final quotes from multiple hospitals.

Contactcure will provide a detailed treatment plan with expert suggestions including with the estimates for the treatment from multiple hospitals with the duration of stay. We require the patient’s case history including past treatment taken, the latest medical reports, as well as current clinical status.

A Case Manager will be assigned to you. These reports will be reviewed by multiple doctors to provide you with a possible treatment plan. We will respond to you within 24 hours of the receipt of the reports with the appropriate specialist doctor’s opinion and approximate cost details.

The hospitals pay us our fee for marketing their services, facilities, infrastructure and servicing their patients. This fee is paid by hospitals out of their sales and marketing budget for international patients.

The quotes that we provide you for your treatment are directly negotiated with the hospitals. We get you discounted and lowest possible quotes. The quote will be same or more if you deal with the hospitals directly. Think of it as buying a smartphone from a brand store or a multi brand store, the price of that smartphone will be more or less same at both types of stores.

And you also do not get an advocate like contactcure who will be with you at every step of your cure journey.

In case you cannot decide on your final treatment option, contactcure may facilitate video consultation with doctors from selected treatment option hospitals/clinics. In this case, you will have to pay for doctor consultation fee directly to the hospital. You can make a final decision based on your discussion with the doctors.

No, we do not. Estimates and quotes are solely provided by hospitals and clinics at their discretion. Although, contactcure helps you get the best possible negotiated quote.

Yes, we have partners and agents working across multiple countries marketing our services in their native countries. Once you are contacted by any such person, you must contact contactcure via whatsapp, call or email. Your assigned case manager shall confirm if that person is working with us or not.

Depending on your country of origin and/or citizenship, you will need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity and/or Visa. Contactcure will help with VISA invitation letter from the hospital and will also assist you in getting your VISA.

a. Passport valid for at least 6 months and should have at least 2 blank pages. You will need a digital copy of the bio page of your passport in PDF format.

b. Invitation letter from the hospital on its letter head.

c. A recent picture of the applicant in digital JPEG format.

d. A Credit or Debit card to make the VISA fee payment. The payment can also be done by a Paypal account.

The applicant(s) will have to fill the online visa application form. In the first step, you will fill all the basic information and the second step will involve a personal questionnaire along with uploading the documents mentioned above. The entire process is hassle free and takes around 20 minutes. In case of any issues, contactcure case manager will assist you.

The e-medical visa is valid for 60 days from the date of arrival to India with 3 entries.

There are 2 processing time options available while filling the form. Firstly, Urgent – takes 1 to 3 days and secondly, Normal – takes 3 to 5 days.

The e-medical VISA fees vary with the country of the applicant. It may also vary if you need to apply it on an urgent basis. Usually, the cost ranges from 80 - 100 USD. For some countries, it can cost you as low as 25 US dollars.

A few countries are also exempted from this fee. These countries are Argentina, Cook Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Niue Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Seychelles, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uruguay, and Vanuatu.

No, it is non-extendable, non-convertible and not valid for visiting the restricted areas. The e-medical Visa applied twice in a year.

You can get regular medical VISA that has a validity of 6 months or a year. You will have to follow below mentioned steps to apply for a regular medical visa to India.

a. Fill the visa application form.

b. Take a print copy of the completed form.

c. Keep the following documents ready - Passport with 6 months validity and 2 blank pages, 2 Recent Passport size photographs, Photocopy of the passport bio page clearly showing pictures, date of birth etc., Proof of residential address, A medical letter (and a copy) from the native country recommending further specialized treatment, Passport copy of the attendant (for the medical attendant visa), Proof of relationship with the attendant, Medical reports from the doctor, Proof of availability of funds - certified bank statement for the last three months or guarantee letter from the bank and copy of VISA invitation letter from the hospital.

d. For some of the countries, Yellow fever vaccination Certificate & Oral Polio Vaccination Certificate is also required on arrival in India.

e. The applicant will have to then visit the nearby India embassy in his/her country. The application form along with the above-mentioned documents are submitted.

f. The applicant will have to then wait for 1 to 3 weeks for approval after which the medical and medical attendant VISA are issued.

Yes, it can be extended up to one year on the orders of the State Government or FRROs after getting a medical certificate from a recognized hospital of India. The medical visa also allows 3 entries in a year.

a. The applicant must have a medical consultation from a medical center in native country and recommended to further specialized treatment.

b. Applicants with critical medical ailments are given high priority for the visa. These ailments include serious issues like cardiac disorders, organ transplants, neurosurgery etc.

c. He/she must have assured financial standing for the return ticket and all expenses related to the treatment.

d. The visa is not applicable for surrogacy.

Two (2) medical attendants can be provided with medical attendant VISA and accompany the patient. Although, due to current COVID scenario, only one medical attendant can travel with the patient. Contactcure case manager will inform in advance if and when Indian government allows 2 attendants with the patient. The attendant(s) will need to apply for a separate visa and will have to go through the same process of visa application as that of the main applicant. The patient and attendants also have to register themselves with the local FRRO in India within 14 days of entering India. Contactcure will take care of your registration with the FRRO.

The attendants must be blood relatives and willing to stay in India during the time of treatment. The attendant visa has the same validity as the patient visa validity.

Contactcure case manager will offer you a cashback upto USD 500 depending on your treatment type. Cashback can be redeemed if you avail services from us like hotel accommodation, local travel, interpreter etc. In addition to the cashback, contactcure will also offer your attendant a free health check-up worth up to USD 100.

a. Any drugs prescribed after patient’s discharge from the hospital.

b. Any care or service relating to major complications that may arise during the Patient’s operation, which necessitates Patient’s transfer into an Internal or External Specialized ICU. Additional costs will be charged to Patient in accordance with the Hospital’s standard charges prevailing at the time of the complication.

c. Any care or service relating to any complications that may arise, which is not related to the Patient’s Surgical Treatment. Additional costs will be charged to Patient in accordance with the Hospital’s standard charges prevailing at the time of the complication.

d. Any extension in stay in the hospital that exceeds the duration mentioned in your quote from the hospital.

If you have health insurance that is valid in India, you let us and hospital know in advance. If it is an approved insurance provider, hospitals might request you to get an advance payment guarantee which you will have to co-ordinate with your insurance provider in your home country.

All major modes of payments are accepted in India – Master or Visa Credit Card/Debit Card, Traveller’s cheque, Wire Transfer, cash etc. We can also help you with currency exchange, in case needed. Most hospitals in India accept payment in multiple currencies.

Yes, a fit to fly certificate of the patient is demanded by all the airlines to certify that the patient’s health condition is stable enough to fly from one country to another within the stipulated span of hours without any deterioration in his/her condition mid-air. It is not required for the attendant. You need to confirm with airline beforehand about the accepted fit to fly certificate format.

1. Few airlines need a fit to fly letter from the doctor of the patient in which patient’s current health condition is mentioned and his/her fitness to fly is sanctioned.

2. Some other airlines provide with their official form known as the Medical Clearance Form that is to be filled by the doctor concerned and the patient himself.

A fit to fly certificate will be required for both boarding the flight from the patient’s home country as well as during departure from India after treatment.

The Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates should be administered at least 10 days before travel (if not with valid 10 year certificate already) for the people coming from the following countries - Angola, Argentina, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Suriname, Venezuela, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea – Bissau, Guyana, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, South Sudan, Togo, Uganda, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago.

Countries that require Oral Polio Vaccination Certificate are - Afghanistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Kenya, Somalia and Syria.

Contactcure case manager will keep you informed about the weather in the region in India you are getting treated. Generally, from March to October, it is summers and rainy season where you can carry light clothes with you. From December to February, it is winters in Northern part of India only where you will need woollen clothes.

A representative from contactcure will pick you up at the airport.

Beware of frauds who will try to promise you with perks and discounts. As it happens in most parts of the world, you may encounter such people. DO NOT pay any attention to such people as you may be subjected to fraud. Contactcure will share case manager’s photo with you beforehand and will be waiting for you at the airport with your name card. He/she will show you his/her company ID card. DO NOT leave the airport without contactcure representative.

Most hospitals in India allow at least one attendant to stay with the patient at the hospital. In case there are more than one attendant, he/she can stay at nearby hotels/homestays which are available at very reasonable rates.

We encourage you to book your own flight tickets either online or through an agent in your company. Contactcure will assist you if you encounter any issues.

Contactcure will share stay options with you. Generally, a comfortable stay starts from USD 20 per night. We do not charge you anything for booking, you book directly with the accommodation provider. Before you start your travel, we make sure that you are booked in an accommodation of your choice. You are also free to book your choice of accommodation online as well.

The medical centres that we deal with have invested millions of dollars in their infrastructure and staff designed specifically for best care for the patients. They take great care to make sure that the patients are satisfied and the results are successful. Having said that, any surgery or medical procedure entails risk & successful results cannot be guaranteed by anyone.

Yes, it may be possible. However, this will, depend on the doctor’s assessment of your case. You will have to bear the cost of the new procedure. But since you are already in India, this may be financially beneficial to you.
